Supposed to be 92 feeling like 102 today. I have no issue with heat, but humidity is brutal. Cold showers are actually a true pleasure. I may have to look into one of those cold plunge tubs.

Had the expoxy on a driver adapter give out me. Just too hot to keep clubs in the car or garage.

I tell everyone I know here not to leave their clubs in there car all the time. Grips vulcanize and epoxy breaks down. I wasted $300 on an outdoor counter top made out of 2x6's from a large shipping palette. I did a 1/4 inch thick clear epoxy coating over the top of the whole thing. I used expensive marine grade epoxy and it didn't even last 1 year.

It looks like our latest hot snap is over. It wasn't as bad as Arizona/Vegas but remember it will be this in a few months.

Mattyv I don’t think clear epoxy is meant to be exposed to the sun. Even marine epoxy should be painted over, from my experience. Although you do see the beautiful clear finish on some boats, but maybe that is urethane or something?

Currently at a friend's house trying to figure out what's up with her horse trailer brakes. Her truck keeps going between trailer brakes connected and check trailer wiring... I found a wire pinched between the new backing plate and the mounting flange. That's probably not the entire problem, yet it's part of it.

It’s always a ground problem. But you probably know that.

DonM nope, didn't know that, yet I took the plalug apart, cleaned, and shortened wires in there, checked a few more things, found the little emergency brake battery. When I finally got the housing to the point that I could open it, I found the negative terminal wasn't connected.... fixed that... just sloppy work on someone's part...

Walterjn Yeah trailer wiring always seems to have a bad ground somewhere.

DonM that might explain why it quit screaming at me after i checked the little battery that the emergency actuator is wired to. The ground was not connected to the battery. The spade connector that slid on was so loose it would fall off... I tightened that and hooked it all back up.

The last trailer I had was always having light(s) go out due to losing ground. I got tired of fixing them and changed all of the lights to ones with ground wires that ran up to the trailer plug and were grounded to the vehicle, not the frame.

Only about 82-83 degrees here today, but OMG is it HUMID after the ton of rain we had this week! Just came in from mowing the lawn, and my hat and T-shirt are drenched! Mrs. Fatshot took one look at me and said, "Go sit in the shade on the deck.....NO way you're sitting on the upholstery in here!!!"
