As a matter of fact we did our QC walk through today. The new place is clean and tight. Everything works and looks great. We "blue taped" a few cosmetic issues, but it's solid. Start moving next Wednesday.

I am sick of the heat already this summer in AZ. We left on Friday for a week vacation to the SF Bay Area and on the way out of town, the car said 119°. 4more years of teaching for the Mrs., and we are Oregon bound. At least that's the current plan.

PS. I have been enjoying the 65° temps for the last 4 days in Cali!!

sdandrea1 My house thermostat is set on 87!! 🤣 No wonder I never have anyone stop by.

I turn on the a/c a couple hours before going to bed, but only go down to about 84. Then turn if off when I go to bed.

Had plans to work outside on the house today. No wind, not a cloud in the sky, humidity is 78%. 88 degrees, feels like 99 degrees. Too intense for me even a 9:00 AM. Predicted high today of 96.

johnnydoom Always liked Vegas. Go to Nellis AFB for work and my old AF buds used to meet there each spring for a week of golf. As we aged (all now 65+) the night life no longer interested us. We shifted to south Chicago when one joined Olympia Fields as a non-resident. That place has no night life. And golf isn't cheap there. Nice courses.
