We're finally getting a break from the hot weather. I wanted to go for a walk and mow the lawn but instead I'm in the house again as it's raining!

Today, I got up and opened the doors and windows!!

It's absolutely beautiful here today. After a couple of weeks of very hot muggy weather it has finally gotten nice.
We are looking for about 75° today with only 10 mph wind. Tomorrow will be about 80° with 5-10 mph wind. All
this coming week looks nice with temps in the low to mid 80's until Friday when it gets to 87°. The forecast looks
so good that my wife and I are taking off Monday for the Black Hills for the week.

End of August… it’s all over now. 70’s and low 80’s during the day. Pool time will proabably be floating around on the float now. Winter is coming.

It was 50* when I got to the course at 530 this morning and probably 5* cooler in the valley below where the course sits. I wore a winter hat and full rain suit to drive out and open the course washrooms

Teed off at 1:20 today in Temecula CA and it was 99°. 20 miles away at the house we are renting it was 79°. I was fine with the 100 degree heat. Made me feel like I was playing at home.

118° in 5he CA/AZ desert this late afternoon. Glad I just added an external transmission cooler to my 2013 Subaru Outback. Car handled the heat and mountains like a freaking champ!! I haven't driven up hills like this in 30,000 miles. Car now has 131,000 on it and I think this tranny cooler just bought it some extra life.

Nice to get into the high 80’s next week with no rain. Last year we had 3” or rain all summer. Lawns died… sucked. This year 23” of rain. I’ll take the rain anytime. Lawn looks stellar.

It was 103° in Rapid City, SD this past Wednesday. We did all of our sight seeing from the pickup. We're too old to be tromping around outside when it's 103°. We had to stop at a Walmart and it was all I wanted to do to walk across that blacktop parking lot and back to the pickup. After having a heart attack in 2017 I haven't been able to deal with the heat
very well.
