The nice thing about Florida if you’re a golfer is you can play golf year round. Yes it’s hot and humid in the summer, but we get early tee times and are done well before noon.
Also, the day we moved here in August of 2002 it was 106 degrees in Haverhill MA. I don’t think we’ve ever hit 100 degrees here in New Port Richey. Low 90’s is as high as it gets.
Plus, if you have any kind of joint issues I find the hot and humid weather makes my joints feel better. The worst part of Florida living is dodging hurricanes.
