LBlack14 azgreg Walked outside this morning at 4:45 to go to work and it was already 90°. Yeah, 🖕that!! 🥵
DC300 Walterjn not too worried about that, I’ll be plenty hydrated and I’m used to doing a lot more than golf in 93 degree weather. I’d prefer it were cooler, but the opportunity to go is there, I’m going.
meagain sdandrea1 Don't think that we even went under 15 degrees for the last 3 or 4 years. Only plowed my driveway twice last year and there really wasn't much to plow. Also I know there was nobody ice fishing on the lake for 3 years.
meagain Beautiful 72 degrees right now but going up to a scorching 75 later. May get a sprinkle later tonight.
letthebigdogshunt Yesterday was 98* and the next 7 days are 100* to 111*. Some of those days will be a record high for our area. This is scary.
Sparky Mattyv Heston golf course in KS Hey, I played there in the early 90s! I used to live in Wichita. I just went there once. I decided to go on a birthday golf adventure. Arrived at sunrise. Walked & carried my bag.....for 63 holes.
sdandrea1 Sparky Walked & carried my bag.....for 63 holes. Jock rash? Worn out shoes? Damn, man.....63 holes?
Mattyv Sparky I ended up not playing in Heston. Played Sand Creek Station in Newton instead. I have played Heston before. I was born in Hutchinson KS and still have family there and in Wichita.
garyt1957 Sparky Arrived at sunrise. Walked & carried my bag.....for 63 holes. Can't imagine playing 63 holes at any age, with a cart and if 4 strippers carried me to each green. Just couldn't keep my interest up for 63 holes.
Sparky sdandrea1 Damn, man.....63 holes? I was 26 years old. Why not? It was my hands that gave out, but everything was pretty shot that last 18.
