Sounds like it's well past time to cut the annual salary and pay hourly. And if you don't have more than 15 golfers on the tee sheet in mid November in the northeast US - perhaps it's time for the head pro to look for other opportunities elsewhere, time for the course owner to man a counter if he doesn't want to keep his head pro on the payroll.. Or, perhaps, close the the club altogether until Spring of next year.
This ain't rocket science. But you want an additional $8 on Flag Day? What about Valentines Day? What about all the other "insignificant holidays" recognized on the calendar?
I remember a time when Moms were allowed to play free on Mother's Day, and Dad's were only charged a cart fee on Father's Day.
And we wonder why GOLF is not interesting to people looking for a pastime. LOL
