Yep, single ply is best. Scott brand has a single ply that has "septic tank safe" on the package. Even if you don't have a septic tank it is better for your system. I had to have my entire sewer line replaced two years ago from the toilets to the sewer main in the street. After digging up the old 4" cast iron pipe installed in '66 I couldn't believe what bad shape it was in. It "rots" from the inside out and large flakes of rust had constricted the ID of the pipe a bunch just waiting to snag paper.
