DTG midsize has less taper. I like that.

Sparky These irons have a super soft feel.
Not according to this review in Golf magazine https://www.golf.com/equipment/2017/03/06/honma-tw737-v-irons-review-clubtest-2017, "impact feels a bit harder than many testers prefer in a forged blade"

OMG!!! You just got a brand new set of Pings, if memory serves me correctly! Another attack of "ho fever?"
Seriously, those are sweet looking irons. I had a set of the original chrome plated ones several years ago, and
they were some of the best playing irons I ever had. But, I HAD to get something better, I guess.....
Do you have a different set for each day of the week??? :o)
Still have my G400 PINGs. I've always wanted to build a set of black forgings. I had a lot of mediations this year so there was some extra play $. Pulled the trigger. Paying well over $200 for just heads is a lot for this cheap bastage. When I bought the new G400 I lost sleep! I have 4 sets of irons at this time. G400, Maltby DBM, Maltby MPC, Acer XV Pro.
sdandrea1 Dang! No more Eye 2’s - I thought you had it in your will to be buried with them.
Dang, just realized I have the following M+ wedges: 54, 56, 58, 60 ,62. Where the heck are my 50 and 52s?
Another round in today. They're a bit shorter than my G400, but the feel and sound is addicting. The W and GW hit moonshots!
What's so interesting all these posts on Maltby M-05 forged? This design has been around for years mid-90's and nothing new or great other than it's a decent design. Everyone must be bored.
How’s the PTM compared the the TE? I’ve got a 6 iron TE head that I’ve hit.
