Since, there seems some interest in non-traditional methods of the golf swing. Here are 3 that I have tried or used. There are more but these three I feel...

If you get a chance to video your swing, it may help to validate that you are
doing what you think you are doing. Slight changes most times feel like major
adjustments. The other possibility is that these changes are simply putting you
into a better hitting position. Whatever it is....great !

The validation is in the results. Something has changed. I fully accept the possibility that my actual swing could be very close to what I was doing beforehand. The fact is that this change in SETUP (at a minimum) has improved my ball striking. This swing setup has my backswing wider and my downswing shallower. Tell me how to setup my cellphone for selfie videos and I'll give it a shot.

sdandrea1 If you have an Apple phone choose the “Camera” app, select “VIDEO” from the menu that crosses screen above the simulated shutter release button on the bottom. The round white button will turn red. Set the phone in position so that you’ll be in the image from the direction you want. Press (tap) the round red button on the screen and you are now recording. The button will turn to square. Push (tap) again to stop recording. I don’t know how on an Android phone, so if that is what you have someone else will need to help.

I know how to take videos with my Android phone. I just wondered about tips for phone placement. On the ground? On a range stand?

I'll probably be replying from my regular address, not that one.

I will add that it's not exactly what Graves or Junge teach but it's very close. The notes were made for me, but I've streamlined them so that anyone can try it.

If those that follow this thread are very opinionated and not constructive IMO they should butt out. Constructive criticism is very much different than being an opinionated ass. I believe most of us would like to see your/Steve variation of Kirk Junge's Set Up for Impact. I know he recently had a school in Cincinnati.

I'll try a video. I don't have any video of my swing anyway, so this could be an adventure.....might be a misadventure!

Yes we do. Steve is a very good player and we like to give each other the needle. Good luck
