Nice car! Trying to recall how many years ago it was I met you in Myrtle. I suppose you had some impact from the storm?

      MidwayJ I currently have no power. But have water, food, propane and beer. Not as bad as Matthew was 2 yrs ago.

        meagain I have a 2015 2SS/RS. Auto. Stock is 400hp, but I have headers, hi-flow cats, and a tune. Around 440hp.
        The 2018 ZL1 makes 650 from the factory. It is a LT4 supercharged Vette motor. They move, 3.91 rear gears. They were on the track with me.. Ran off and left us common folk. Nice C6 there.

            What was the fastest speed you achieved or were allowed to achieve on the track?? Must have been a blast. Had an LS6 454- 450 HP Chevelle SS in my younger years. Different type of HP then. Torque City. With skinny cheater slicks I could lift the wheels.
            What would your Camaro turn in the 1/4 mile? Just curious?
            In the middle of body off restoration of 1973 Vette convertable. Thinking of selling the 93 to have more room. Almost need 3 stalls. Been apart for 38 years.

                meagain Speed was what you do... 1/2 mile was the longest straight. I hit 110..the ZL1'S hit 128 was the fastest I seen or heard of. Way technical course. 3 classes of drivers, that's the "A" on my windshield. Novice, 1st time driver. The C class was go run!

                They are running at Virginia International Raceway in early October...
                Figuring out how to take the corners was the fun part. Following the instructors was a challenge... Classroom when you were off track.
                How to do the apex of the turn, where the pass zones were. Proper braking, proper shifting.. Etc.... Will do it again.

                  meagain 1 guy put his ZL1 into the wall late in the day. I left about 4pm..he crashed at about 4:30... Had to be flat bedded off... Did not see it. But seen guys I was running with that night at the parking lot party.


                    700 cars in the lot, everybody was friendly, checking out all the cool cars.
                    I am the dark one next to the red jeep.. Silver gas door... That's my unsociable wife sitting there while I was out BS'ing.
