I have an original Ping Anser 3 with a total weight of 453 grams. It's 34" in length and a swingweight of B1. The grip is a lampkin crossline at 72 grams. Using online swingweight calculators the only way this can be reconsiled is if the headweight is 280 grams. Did Ping make putter heads at this weight?

The old ones are stupid light. I have an old Anser 2 in my sons bag and it's like a feather.

a month later

My PING A Blade is very light compared to modern putters. This is normal, yes. A lot of the older Anser putters I see in player's bags have lead tape in the cavity. It takes some getting used to, or add weight. BTW, this ChipO is MONEY on bump and runs!
