TM M2 Fairway Hosel Question

I just snagged a TM M2 HL 3 wood and want to change the shaft. It has a fluted gizmo and a small plastic ferrule above that. Is the fluted gizmo metal and does it come out or what?

Heat away !!!
The fluted part is metal and only the small plastic ferrule will need to
be replaced. Oh....it is an unusual size & shape but available from
Billy Bob's & others. Have fun - it is a beast of a 3 wood.

Thanks for the info. I have some TM ferrules for my M2 driver. So, do I remove the plastic ferrule and pull against the fluted part?

Yep....I've replaced the shaft several time that way. I think that they 'fluted' ferrule
was for aerodynamics....right, sure, ok.

Thanks. I have a black and white Mugen that is a rocket and will look good in this head.

With that shaft you will not have a 'rocket' and a 'beast'....lol

I think they fluted the hosel to save a gram of weight! 🙂
I have the 5 wood. I used a countersink ferrule, and had to trim a little off the end of the extension.

BTW my 5 wood is supposed to be 18 degrees but measures 21! I will say it's hot for a 7 wood, lol.
