I guess the next question would be: which QB in the draft would want to play for Cleveland. Just seems like they've been negligent in hiring good scouting personnel, which might have something to do with the fact that the GM and coaching staff have no idea WTF they're doing.
I'm actually rooting for Cleveland to uproot themselves from their dismal abyss and actually be competitive again.
But it's gonna take a whole lot more than a promising young QB who has enough talent to lead. It's gonna require the team owner, GM and coaching staff all on the same page to change things, and build a competent strategy around a promising young QB, which means changing the way they've run their offense in the past.
No team in recent history has made more bad decisions, has squandered more talent with first-round draft picks because of their incompetence. Their fans deserve better. They are loyal, to a fault.
