scotts33 I'm no ho, that's for sure. But when it is time to make a change, sometimes it takes a few tries, and that can burn up cash. Heck, I might just reshaft my 752's, which I know I like.

I recall your posts on FGI saying good things about the 755PC. Anything special to report on those?

DonM I like the 755PC more a players iron not as thick a topline as the 752TC. Tom doesn't use a lot of offset on any of his irons the most being the 771CSI now. If you need height the 979SS is better for that. They are medium sole until you get to the 9i and wedges.

BTW just thought of this if you want to try a set of RH 979SS I have a test set of mixed shaft S2S SuperLite and Nippon 950GH 5i - AW I'd let you have cheap as i know you'd appreciate them. TLT Series #6 MoI 2680 kg-cm² toe down. I didn't build the 6i but have the head and S2S SL shaft. They are a "R" flex for basic idea. Kind of like the Phantom's you asked Jeff about shaft wise. $100 plus shipping let me know if interested.

scotts33 I am thinking I'll just order a new set of 755's. The $20 shipping isn't all that bad. That's today's thought. I'm trying to give myself a 24 hour cooling off period before club purchases these days. 🙂

DonM Only issue I had with the 755PC was that a badge became loose and needed to be re-epoxied. But that can happen with any badge in the cavity type irons. Thinner topline than the 752TC and a bit wider profile with medium width. Because they are not undercut with a lot of weight low in the head they do not launch ultra high for the majority. All in all for me the majority of cast heads are just that just cast. It's more the shaft if you find a cast head that meets your fitting needs, offset, size, top line, etc....most of them to me are about the same. I believe in playability the 565MC is about the same as the 755PC.

Don if you can wait a bit I’ve got two sets of heads used. I would sell you a set of these for a great price. I’m in Scotland and won’t return until May 1.

While on topic of Wishon....received 18 catalog, which came with typical Wishon catalog, price list, but also a DGI catalog including all of their shafts, grips, and clubmaking/supplies....anyone know if we have access to grips/shafts/etc. in the DGI catalog....a pretty darn comprehensive list of stuff!
