Wishon 9i (left), Pinhawk 5i (middle), PTM 8i (right)
Pinhawk (left), PTM (middle), 560 (right)
The pinhawk is longest heel to toe, followed by PTM, then 560....although they are all similar. Pinhawk and 560 similar in sole width, while the PTM is wider, but mostly in the toe....you can kinda see the leading edge grind on the PTM, tried to capture in a separate pic. I love the PTM, super easy to hit. I have played 7-8 rds so far this year and have had it me for all of them. I need to get the lie bent flat, as they tend to go left on me, so I've been hitting cuts that go dead straight. Easy to hit punch shits.with these, that leading edge grind us a nice touch. The finish is really nice too a beautiful milky satin. Can't say enough good about the performance, they are good.....pretty darn forgiving. They are form forged 8620, and the feel is just ok, but I'm biased, as I don't care about feel. Even the Wishon 560's are true forged really don't do anything for me.in the feel category, but I would say feel slightly more smooth than the PTM's. Now the TE forged felt good, buttery! Same.shafts in the 560 and TE in the TT black gold and had the Modus 130 and now the Modus 125 in the PTM....which according to users on wrx, they have about the feel of the Modus line. I'm going put a Black Gold and/or Apollo stepless in the PTM at some point just to compare as they are known commodities to me and have hundreds of rounds on each. Again grain of salt as I'm not a feel guy perse and try to choose performance as #1. The other tidbit is that I tend to get steep and the TE forged and 560, I can take some serious turf on full shots. The little bit of extra bounce and sole relief have helped with the PTM's, friendlier turf interaction!
