"This is an argument you often hear. Guess who else should've 'felt' the difference in air pressure? How about the guys with stripes that touch the ball the most and are responsible for enforcing the rules? They noticed nothing, zip, nada."
Have you ever watched how they handle balls? They typically catch them with cupped hands and immediately underhand toss it to another official. The official sets it with it the top of the ball. I have rarely seen an official grasp a ball like a QB , or hold it long enough to be able to tell anything unless it were going flat.
I can tell you who would know the difference.
A center, long snapper, QB, RB, WR, TE, PK, P
Anyway, there is no doubt in your mind that your hero could have anything to do with this.
Maybe in reality, instead of coming forth with all the details and damaging Brady further, the NFL just wanted to fine him and move forward but Brady's vanity wouldn't allow that. It makes no sense for the NFL to damage their prime product. If this were the case why do they go so far out of their way before disciplining lesser players and not hanging them out to dry initially?
Either way, I don't care, the damage is done and EVERYONE other than NE fans will always doubt his credibility because of the cell phone. There was never any reason to destroy the phone, period. You know his attorney informed him there would be repercussions for destroying the phone, but Brady did it anyway.
