How to get color procedures to work.

I have tried two different posts, one in the Official Sandbox thread and the other in the So Can We Still Call It The FGI Open thread, to get the color setup to work using your steps/procedures in The How To Style Your Posts Guide. Can't get it to work. What am I doing wrong?

FauxAmish Just so I'm understanding... are you saying you are trying to change the color of your text in a post? Or something else?

See my attempts in the two referenced threads please. I put the brackets as explained and have yet to have them react as was stated in the Guide. My attempts have been the same way Your previous instructions operated in the Original Forum and I am doing the same color procedure, I think. I have not deviated from your new procedures. They are the same as the original FGI.

See my deleted posts, they still can be accessed at least from my view.

I was and have been trying to get the word "blue" to come out as "blue". Not a sentence, just a word.

FauxAmish I looked into and it looks like color text isn't enabled here yet. This platform is still being developed but improving every day.

I will let you know when I am able to add support for color text and I'll add it to the Features needed thread.
