I'll second the 'quit hitting range balls'. I finally realized I get nothing out of it except sore elbows. My game didn't suffer and I shoot the same scores. I'll hit a few range balls once in a blue moon before my round, but it's a rare event.
I do have a small Real Feel mat that I'll take swings on in the place of practice. I have cathedral ceilings in my house. I play a soft compression ball also (Srixon Soft Feel 60 compression) so when I do hit range balls it's a shock to hit rocks even with graphite shafts.
Received a dozen Callaway Chrome Softs for Christmas and they were very nice, but too expensive at $39.99 a dozen. The newer ones with graphine are $46.99 a dozen.
