ode Sure....got to be in the right frame of mind to pay attention, but there is so much good stuff out there, Dark, amores perros, city of god, etc. You can't text and surf the net, play your Android games.and watch foreign movies, it doesn't work😉
Toulon ode Boy, how times have changed. I wonder how much time in a 100 minute movie I'm actually looking at the screen? My wife has to be about 10-15 minutes unless she's gripped from the get go. I probably prefer dubs to subs because I can still look away. 🙂 I'm glad DARK was a dub or I'd have never made it. Maybe, I'll try getting through a subbed TV series. I'm running out of things to watch.
mikeintopeka I used to but I think I burned myself out watching Japanese Godzilla movies with closed captioning.
LBlack14 I can't watch a movie and read subtitles. I have a hard enough time getting through the sports page on the can.
JeffTilley I’ve been watching season one of The Sopranos on dvd. It’s in English with English subtitles. Weird, huh? It was kinda aggravating at first, but the show is very interesting and I’ve learned to overlook it.
sdandrea1 accufitgolf Due to a hearing loss, I always have Closed Caption on so subtitles are fine with me. Same hear, I mean here. I wear hearing aids, but still need subtitles on. Rarely go to the movies anymore.
