This one is on her. Read the rules, Lexi - you do this for a living.

I'm not sure what the problem is....Tiger & friends were allowed to remove an embedded bolder. 🤓

Not that I'm excusing Lexi of her negligence, she's ultimately the one who should read the rules.. but seriously? Removing an advertising sign, which doesn't require undue delay, to play a shot, saving who knows how many minutes of needing a rules official to make sure they're taking proper relief without incurring a rules violation?

This is just another example of why golf is struggling to gain interest.

If the sign was "removable" without undue delay, why was it deemed immovable?

Saw video, Lexington and her caddie attempted to move it but difnt, stopped and the some security personnel came in moved it. I am sure they moved it on her instruction and that was the reason for the prnalty. If they did it on their own after seeing her and her caddie had stepped away after not being able to move, is she still responsible for their actions?

IMO this is where these organizations are messed up, a bit of consistency goes a long way.

If there was any question why didn't she call in a rules official? Spieth calls them in if a piss ant gets in his line of play.

PA-PLAYA If the sign was "removable" without undue delay, why was it deemed immovable?

It had two inch square pegs made of wood that need to be hammered into the ground to hold it up and was big enough to hide a motorcycle behind it.
After Lexi and her caddie tried to lift it themselves and it didn't budge, two young men in military uniform arrived and reefed the sign out.
It was not one of those material banners with skinny steel bars holding it up, like most of the ones you see out there.
As I stated before, it was obvious even to me (I watched it live) and the announcers mentioned it immediately.
She's ill prepared (her caddy too) and it appears she hasn't gotten any better at course prep after all this time.

btw, the loose impediment rule was changed after the Tiger boulder BS incident
