Sneakylong What size caliber was used in the AR-15 in Sandy Hook? Maybe being an expert you could describe what type injuries they caused when flying into a 6 year olds body. How big of a hole etc.?
His mom was killed with a .22LR if I'm not mistaken. The killings at the school were done with a .223 which uses the same size projectile as your common .22LR. The same size (small) hole and damage it would cause when flying into either you or me. The chances of surviving a .223 are greater than a .22LR because the projectile will likely go straight through you or me.
Just an FYI, NTIM, but my best friend was shot and killed (when I was 22 yrs old and he 23 in 1988) at close range by a .22LR pistol, his own, in the hands of his girl friends 14 yr old boy after a fight with his girl friend ex in his own home. Shot twice, once in the side, then once in the chest when he reacted to the shot in the side. He then turned and took 2 steps out his front door and dropped dead on his front porch. The doctors said he'd have had a better chance of survival if it'd been a larger/more powerful round/caliber. The projectiles hit ribs and then ricocheted inside his body. A .223 would have when straight through him, providing it didn't hit vital organs. This was early in a night when him and I were out. He left me to "tend to this business" and I never saw him again alive. I carried him to his grave.
Don't play games with me.
