Gawd only knows when I'll get out. We had some warmer weather, minus the snow storm yesterday, but it's pure muck out and I'm not a mudder nor am I motivated yet. ENJOY!! And thanks!!

Thanks. It's been warm enough here but we got rained out yesterday.

Looking good, as always loving the 685os, 600xc's......and the mixed nature of the bag, oem's, components, and clones. You have got your $ worth out of them Turner's!

Yeah the Turners just seem to work. I have been reluctant to pull the Harrison Impulse shafts out of them. I bought a new Impulse I can try in one of the other heads. Maybe the SMT I have not shafted yet.

MidwayJ I have been reluctant to pull the Harrison Impulse shafts out of them.

Excellent choice, sir. Once you pull the shaft the poon escapes. That is a fact well proven on FGI.

I have a couple of Turner hybrids, too; newer ones than those. They are really great clubs. A steal at the price.

ode There's a golf blues song called "messin with the poon" and the chorus essentially says don't do itπŸ˜‰

That has to have been written by Dyno. Fo sho. 😜

The poon has actually stayed with the shafts. Previously I had them in a pair of Hireko hybrids, and that combo was good, too. But I know I'd be pressing my luck to try it again. πŸ™‚

The Ping debut did not go well. I had some trouble controlling them. I no doubt would have played poorly no matter what clubs were in the bag, but I definitely hit the driver and hybrids better than the irons today. It seemed like my misses were exaggerated. Lots of shots where the clubface was way open or closed at impact. Some huge pull hooks. I think part of it was not yet re-gripping them with midsize grips, which helps me not be to handsy. There may also be an issue with either the overall weight or swing weight being a little heavy. The bottom line, though, is LOFT (lack of f-ing talent)!

On the plus side, I really didn't notice a distance loss versus my Snake Eyes 685OS on solid hits, and the SEs lofts are a little stronger. Ball flight seemed a little higher. We were playing in high winds today, so it was difficult to judge, though.

Those new Ping irons have been the recent focus but I have to say Adams drivers are great. They made several good ones before everything went adjustable. I had a Redline Tour, 9015d, F11, 9032LS, and 9064LS. All have been good, and no bother with .350 hosels!
