Well... I bought a CPAP online (after being told that my "sleep study" would be at least 3 months out). I still have it. But started experiencing what I thought might be the early onset of a respiratory infection after about two weeks of use, despite cleaning it daily and making sure I followed the instructions per the letter. Never ever experienced a nagging cough and dry nose prior to using it. Decided to nix it.
After dealing with this, the discomfort of the hose being attached (I've always been a tosser and a turner in bed, which woke me up every other hour... and waking up each morning with the elastic face band attachment marks on my face.... I decided I was tired of waking up each morning looking like Hannibal Lecter, and still not getting a good night's sleep.
I'm sure that losing some weight will help considerably, but in the meantime I still need something that will help.
That's why I've decided to (once again) try the Zyppah. I tried it a few years back, but didn't give it an honest chance to work. I just couldn't get used to having a mouthpiece in while trying to sleep. After a couple of days - I sent it back.
Gonna give it another try.
