PA-PLAYA LBlack14 That system will be visiting us in a few hours. Thankfully it’s a fast mover. Got the snowblower ready to go for in the morning. By the time I wake up - it should be over with. Then almost 50* on Monday and mid-60’s on Tuesday. If I didn’t have places to go tomorrow afternoon I wouldn’t even bother with it.
PA-PLAYA Ringoblack It blows things. Like snow. Just like you jamokes in the warmer climates this time of year when you get lonesome. 😜
MidwayJ Did not play today because it was raining this morning. Have a tee time on Monday, though. (North Texas)
DonM My phone says it's gonna get chilly in AZ this week. Highs in the 50s. There is one short term guest here in our resort who did not bring any outer layers with him. Maybe he is really into packing light. Anyway, that sound you hear about Wednesday might be his teeth chattering on the golf course.
darpar DonM Summers are usually in the 95-106° range, though I've seen it over 110°, but rarely. It can and does get pretty windy, but normally only lasts a day or two. We do get some epic lightening storms the early part of summer.
johnnydoom Plenty of warm days the last two weeks, but each warm day was accompanied by large volumes of rain. Probably could have taken today off and played (supposed to be a high of 75F), but the wind is supposed to be blowing very hard around here all day. If it were a weekend I'd give it a go, but don't want to burn a vacation day to get wind blast.
sdandrea1 87 degrees here yoday, but no golf for us. We hit the spring-fed waters of the Nature Coast if FL. The water has warmed up in the Gulf, so the manatee ave headed back out for the most part. We did see one today, but she was gone before I could snap a pic. Playing golf on Wed, Thurs, Fri and Sat. 😎
Sarnella sdandrea1 If I was not golfing, I would really like to be paddling a canoe or kayak around. Looks like a lot of fun.
Ringoblack If you see one wearing a T-shirt get a pic. sdandrea1 the manatee ave headed back out for the most part Oh, and I played today. It was 70* or so.
Rickochet sdandrea1 We hit the spring-fed waters of the Nature Coast if FL. Is that paddle strong enough to whack a gator?
RobertThomas sdandrea1 Looks very nice, I do not know how you Floridians handle that humidity though. I can last about a day in Florida and that may be stretching it. But, your playing golf.....as we are in AZ. 🙂 Will be playing Saturday, Tuesday and Wednesday so far, nice weather , around low-mid 70's and dry!
