This is a final report on my dealings with Diamondgolf UK (Wishon). They had promised to send UPS to pick up the old heads paid by them. I had to contact them twice to remind them. UPS finally picked the box up and it only took 5 days to get back to the UK and had tracking. Also, as I was dealing with them I noticed some new Sterling SW and LW heads in a more "traditional shape." I ordered two of those and they arrived in just a few days and they did not charge a shipping fee. The new SL wedges look super and right on weight. The shrink wrap and weight sticker were different which might suggest they came from a different foundry than the HM wedges. So all that was left was to get a refund on the HMs. Several days after tracking showed return to Diamond I had not received any notice or refund. I sent them an email and got a, "Will chase it up" reply. The next day I get an email with a letter of credit. What is that? I contacted them and asked them if this would be refunded to my Paypal account since it was a paypal purchase. I got a reply, "I can do that for you." One more day and nothing. I email again asking when I might expect a refund. I got a reply an hour later about the same time I got a paypal refund. They did refund the full purchase price and shipping. So, transaction finally done.
So, in the end all is well and I got two nice heads to add to my Sterling set. I have been to the UK and things do seem to go at a slower pace that life here but it seems like I had to poke them with a stick far too many times. Perhaps I was a bit too impatient. They were always very polite and always answered the phone or replied to emails but it just seemed to take them forever. It could be that the companies we deal with in US have us spoiled with their fast service. Anywho it worked out, and the quality of the new Sterling Wedges renews my confidence in their product quality.
