  • Anyone Have Any Dealings With The New Wishon Customer Service?

Next time one of you are placing an order let me know - I'd like to get a couple items and the only local guy who is a Wishon "fitter" is a bit of a clown. Would like a 919thi 9* w/ square FA on a s2s black 80g shaft. 44", D8-E0 without grip. If you can build it for me then ship it to me, great! Let me know what this would cost.

Might be interested in a matching 3w as well.

ZWExton if it were Wishon when the operation were here in CO I'd do it for you, but based on above scenario I would be hesitant to do it, but will keep you in mind if I ever order from them again....you might consider trying to get an account and placing the order yourself, shipping would only be 20, and if the order got over 200 it would be 10....might be cheaper in the end to find someone locally to do the build with you bringing the components in!

ZWExton I am not certified by anyone.....I simply never applied for an account due to principal as my hobbyist clubmaking never really fit into their business model, even though there were/are many other hobbyists that are likely of similar skill level.....but I eventually broke down and applied and was accepted for an account prior to the operation moving over seas.

There shafts are the best bang for your buck. Their bending service for drivers, fairways, and hybrids is the best in the industry, OEM,s included. This two things are enough for me to keep the account, but am just skeptical enough based on experience as noted above to continue to use them.

Bottom line is it won't hurt to try, but I'm sure someone in buzz will help you out and the items you are asking for are likely to be in stock.

ZWExton I don't think Wishon ever enforced that pro builder requirement despite many believing he did. I am not a pro builder and never was, am totally self taught(outside of 25yrs on various club builder forums, etc) and have no professional certifications. Despite that I had absolutely zero issue with setting up an account with Wishon Golf. I only ordered once or twice as their shipping wasn't very Canada friendly in the quantities I was ordering.

I never had a problem getting an account. In the proper place on the application, I put that I was making clubs for myself. I really didn't need it but it got me the year Wishon product catalog porn.

I ended up calling them yesterday and chatted with a very nice lady who I could actually understand. We discussed my issue and she sent me an email asking for more information. I am still waiting on their reply but so far they were very pleasant to deal with. The rep had a very pleasant voice with an obvious accent and I chuckled when we hung up she said, "Cheers." (which sounded more like Cheeeyaaahs. ☺

I have not dealt with the new owners.......sounds like the business might be declining a bit.

If they'll give me an account, anyone can get one.

It's about moving product not about your skills.

Hence when purchasing made clubs on eBay buyer beware. 🙂

I bought a Wishon HM wedge on Ebay. I put it in my JB Puller and while loading the preload spring the head popped off with no heat. Easy pull, eh? 😛
