Damn...I love watching the Fix ... Our golf group always talks about it. What's funny, and it's something we say, none of us can stay awake for a whole episode.

My wife gives me crap..." How can u fall asleep with this guy screaming at you?" I look at her and say to myself..." I'm married..."

Bummed though..even though with the dvr it took me 2 hours and 4 naps to get through it, I enjoyed it.

Breed did a great job. His enthusiasm and rapid fire delivery contained a lot of gems of instruction. I found it best to record the show and then I could apply or absorb the stuff better.

Wasn't a fan of the golf fix, but it did have some good info on it.

They should have called him Machinegun Breed. He talked so fast it was hard to assimilate the info unless you had recorded it and could back up and listen a couple of times. I enjoyed him for 3 o 4 years but he wore pretty thin for me.

I liked Michael Breed on the Golf Fix, but the nature of the program will always need an occasional fresh face to keep it alive.

That's my take, GC cutting costs hence guys like Breed and Fienstien gone. Breed was good, imo. He only had so much time in his segments, hence the rush. I've seen other videos from him that are much more relaxed.

Here's an interview with Michael Breed and he basically says he got tired of the travel,
plus he's got two young kids at home he wants to spend more with.
He's also building a tv studio in his new home so he'll still be giving golf instruction vids,
just not on TGC anymore.
Sounds like he left on his own terms not theirs.
