If you sign up for Amazon Prime you get access to a lot of music for free. Or you can get the $3.99 a month plan. Their unlimited plan cost more as far as I understand.
We have the Echo Dot and have it hooked up to a Bose Wave System. All we had to do was buy a stereo cable and it sounds great.
Plus we have Sirius / XM in my wife's car, so we now have that hooked up to the Echo Dot as well. We upgraded to their all access plan and now have 994 channels including the PGA channel.
It's a little bit of a process getting it connected to your WiFi, but there's help at both Amazon and Sirius / XM should you need it.
I think you'll find Alexa is pretty cool. 😃
