Is there such thing as a push cart that holds your bag vertical instead of lying back at an angle?

Check out the four wheel carts, it appears that they are pretty close to being vertical.

Martee Yeah, I found one so far that's marketed as vertical, but it doesn't exactly suit my eye. Thanks. I'll keep searching.

I think it is mechanically more reliably simple if the bag is leaning over to ensure that the clubs don't fall out. Also, arguably easier to get the clubs out of the bag. So I think it might be nearly impossible to find one that holds them in a completely vertical position.

rsvman actually, the thing that has me looking for a vertical cart is the fact that the grips bind on each other when they're leaned over on my push cart. Not saying I'm going to get one, and I know what you're saying about the stability, but I'm curious as to if it has been done and wanted to see if anyone knew of a good design.

I remember seeing one that was on the market, that was probably 4-5 years ago though. I will see if I can find anything about it.

Thanks, SV. I've seen the Clever Caddie. Never seen the other. Will keep those in mind.

I don't enjoy the grips getting all bound up in the bottom, but I think you'll get a lot. More bag chatter if the clubs are perfectly upright. I'm very anal about keeping my clubs in pristine condition - if you are too, you'll want to consider the pros/cons as such.

I use iron covers on my ClicGear, so my clubs do not even know what bag chatter is. 🤑

Not always... I have a Ping Pioneer bag (14 full length dividers) and when I walk, my push cart is a 4-wheel Bag Boy Micro which tilts the bag back maybe 20 degrees and I will get the grips (standard sized grips) binding at times. Unless the dividers are actual tubes, instead of stitched together fabric, they can and will bind still.

Puttnfool, I do remember seeing a different one a few years ago, but am not finding it when I search.

@sdandrea1, SV hit it on the head. I have 2 bags with 14 dividers and they both bind sometimes on the push cart... rarely on a riding cart when they're held vertically. Hence, the search for a vertical push cart.

I only have one round in with the new bag on a push cart, but I didn't have any problems at all. I was ecstatic that I could finally pull a club out without trouble and also that I could put it back in the same place.

I have a problem in that I leave clubs on the course fairly frequently; I think I'm less likely to do so with the new bag because I can see there is a spot that is missing its club.

I have rolled my PING Traverse bag on a Sun Mountain push cart many times- no issues with grips binding. ??
