I appreciated the satire and message. I took the movie as a metaphor on how we’re reacting to a slow moving comet called climate change. Of course making a satirical comedy about climate change probably wouldn’t sell.
Also, the correlation between some of the characters portrayed and their real life counter parts were well done.
Also, while out promoting the movie, Jennifer Lawrence and Jonah Hill were calling Meryl Streep goat.
She thought that they were so comfortable around her that they were joking about her being an old goat. Lawrence had to explain to her that goat meant greatest of all time. Lol
