I’m going to watch this. Growing up in the northeast (Massachusetts) Vince’s father had that section of the country for professional wrestling. Vince was the announcer for his father’s circuit back then.
Remember it was on every Saturday. Remember all the star wrestlers. Bruno Sammartino, Chief Jay Strongbow, Pedro Morales, Gorilla Monsoon, Bulldog Brower, Lou Albano etc..
Dated Lou Albano’a niece in the summer of 1974. She was a friend of one of the daughters family that summered in Harwich on the Cape. They were all girls.lol
Went to the Boston Garden to see these guys in the early 70’s. Back in the day who knew professional wrestling would prove to be so huge.
Btw. Everyone knew it was fake back then. So isn’t a movie or play on Broadway. You go in not knowing what’s going to happen, even though knowing it was pre determined beforehand.
Not really a fan of Vince, but he took his father’s business and grew it substantially.
