Frontier is good, historical and gritty.
What to watch on Netflix
Wife and I have been binge watching "Frankie and Grace". Don't remember when we've laughed so hard. It's been a hoot. About half way through Season 2.
Just borrowed the first season, on dvd, from a co-worker, of The Sopranos. I’ve been wanting to see this show for a long time now, but keep those Netflix choices comin.
My wife loves that show. I can’t stand Jane Fonda. The rest of the Fonda clan are gold, imo.
We've gotten a lot of mileage out of Unbreakable Kimmie Schmidt

You won't find a better series than The Sopranos imo. The first season is good, but it gets much better as the series progresses.
Bought the collector's edition of their DVD box-set several years ago, and still watch it on HBO's AppleTv channel subscription.
Hard to believe we're coming upon James Gandolfini's 4 year anniversary of his death. He was a remarkable actor who somehow escaped the typecast of the mafia personality that he was most known for.
Enjoy! You won't be disappointed. A lot of people were disgruntled with the ending, but looking back on how the series ended - it was fitting that it ended the way it did.
Because of this thread I started watching Ozark. It's good. Appreciate the recommendation!
I watched Bladerunner 2049 a few days ago on Netflxx. Save your $5.99. It is a slow moving 2:44 and after I watched it I had to look up a synopsis on Wiki to figure out what I watched. And, the "Big Star" Harrison Ford didn't even show up until the last 1/3rd of the film, obviously selling his name.
SWMBO and I are watching The Following, Season 1. Kevin Bacon is pretty good in this role.
Not on Netflix, but I’ve been watching season 1 of The Sopranos on dvd and I’m hooked!
Just finished the 3rd season of Peaky Blinders. Very good show .
I don’t think I’ve seen any of the shows listed except a few seasons of Breaking Bad. Not Netflix but I just started Game of Thrones. Watched season 1, ep 1 yesterday and ep 2 this evening.
The wife enjoyed "Lion". She made me get the book to read after we watched the Netflix movie.
The latest season of "Frankie and Grace" came out this past week and we watched it. Still believe that must have some of the best writers ever. They cover more social issues than one could imagine.
"Final Girl" and "A Lonely Place to Die" were both okay. Awfully bloody.
Watching "Godless" now. Through Episode 3 of 7. Enjoying that.
I got the email this morning that the streaming price is going up, because they want to add more options for viewers. That's nice and I don't mind paying more, but wouldn't it be refreshing if they said....we are raising prices to increase revenue/profit. Prolly wouldn't go over well with most folks
SWMBO and I just started Peaky Blinders, Season 1. Awesome. Watched 3 episodes last night!
If you want to watch Sons of Anarchy, prepare yourself. It is probably the most intense show I've ever watched. I sweated my way through a great majority of the episodes.
As far as older HBO shows go, Sopranos is great, but I have always been partial towards The Wire. TW was rated as the best written show of all time on a couple lists. It's a little dated, but still holds up. Love that show.
Netflix is releasing, ALTERED CARBON, on 2/2...looks like a good one for you sci fi guys. Saw a bit of the trailer...reminded of the movie, SELF/LESS, which was a reasonably entertaining piece of work.
