PA-PLAYA it's a problem with the direction of cfb....bigger conferences, need to split to two divisions, leading to unbalanced divisions, and not having to play everyone in the conference. B1G west is weak, Wisconsin has been consistently good, but not the rest if the conference. This year they did not have to play Mich St, Ohio St, it Penn St....not their fault as they don't set the conference schedule, nor can they help the non conf teams sucking this year. At least they didn't have a non d1 team, cough Bama!
This the reason why conf championship mean less and there cannot be auto bids, it doesn't get to the 4 best teams. Underlying it all is a matter of inclusion, 4 teams , out of how many-
It is better then what it was, but CFB falls short of what it could be, every year since it's inception! Absolutely no good reason not to expand to 6 or 8 teams. We could have two, count them two, two loss teams in the playoff!
