Turns out this Speeder shaft fits me fairly well. I cut it down to ~44.25" before putting it into play. I did try it at the range once or twice before cutting it down and I'm not sure whether it was my preconceived notion or real world results, but I feel more comfortable around 44". Anyway, it ended up around D1-D2 so it's not like I'm swinging a broomstick or anything. If anything, then 1" chopped off probably made it better.

As for results, I used this the other day when I shot the 88 from the tips and I was hitting it pretty well. I hit one ~260ish into a good wind. The 10.5° of loft isn't killing me, even into a headwind. Seems it's taken a little of my sidespin off, which is a definite advantage.

I'll likely have a 9.5° in the same club up for sale soon.

Most people would be better off with a 44" driver, so you're not alone. That ought to be the "standard" length. Personally, I play a 44" driver, a 41.5" 3w, and a 39" 19deg hybrid. I am not left wanting for distance. It pays to hit the middle.

ZWExton I'm actually contemplating SL fairway woods. Will probably make them to ~42"... maybe 41.5", bit doubtfully less than that.

So, given that this shaft is fairly old (the Speeder 757 in the TM), I'm not sure if I can find any decent specs on it. Does anyone know where to find the specs for the TM Fuji Speeder 757 stiff that was used in the 2007 Burner TP? Looking for a shaft with similar characteristics, maybe 10g or so heavier, to use in a 3wd.

Spuzz Yeah, I have that file and refer to it often. Unfortunately, the author said the shaft tested was the Fuji version and the TM shaft might be a watered down version.

And here I thought TP shafts were the real deal with a paint job.

LBlack14 Maybe they are, maybe they aren't. That's why I posted asking if anyone had any idea how to tell the specs on the TM shaft. I am confident that the DSFI listing shows the specs for the Fuji shaft. Now, I guess, if there was a way to confirm that they're the same shaft, it'd be certain.

ode That's great. I'm inclined to believe it, but I'd love to see some info from a creditable source (i.e. TM or Fuji). Either way, I'm looking for a 3wd shaft to compliment this shaft and I'm narrowing it down soon. Gotta get ready for spring.
