Windows updates will save you before your antivirus does. That is a fact. Microsoft can patch a hole faster than they come up with something that send it out as a virus update, because of they way they are forced. Always do your updates. I have seen the encrypted stuff on the person that I would have least wanted to see it encrypted on.
