Callawaypreowned still has them listed used for $300 - $350 so I assume that they are still popular.

Can't say it did much for me, however at least 6 guys bought the driver. ALL, ALL gained distance as much as 25 plus yards. For me, only a few swings, maybe a couple of yards but not enough to drop the coin.

I think it’s good stuff, it seems to give some distance, which in today’s market, is a big deal. As epic as it gets.

Seems like you now hear less and less about the Epic... More and more about the G400.

I wonder if it's just a case of " what came out recently". If the G400 came out in January and the Epic 2 months ago would we be praising the Epic and not talking about the G400 anymore?

Typhoon Either way, $500,.......I could fill 3 bags with brand new complete sets! And balls.

This, coming from a guy that could surely use even 10 more yards of the tee. But I got 12 other clubs in the bag to get me there. And they do.

A thing about Seniors.....if we would go out and buy this over priced stuff, and realized the gains stated, we would then have to move BACK a set of tees. Gain is neutralized. And we'd be out $500. Any such marketing towards the Senior crowd is nothing short of idiocy.

I tried the Epic driver for a month. Found it to be the most unforgiving driver I've hit in a long while despite the rave reviews. Switched out the shafts, tried different flexes and loft options on the head.... still nothing.

Sold it. And sold it for about 1/2 of what I paid for it and went back to the 2013 GBB model that quite frankly is the most reliable driver I've ever owned.

Hit Baab's a couple times at Desert Storm , hit bombs with it and he kills it. I'd agree its not as forgiving as my G25 or G.

G400 will probably be in the bag this summer

Tried it at the range when it first came out, and it performed no better than the X2 Hot Pro that was in my bag at the time. I do like the feel of the Epic fairways with the White Tie, tho.

To be fair, I think these were aimed at guys with more club head speed than those of more average games. The X hot line was great, but none of that was worth a shiiit in the drivers if you could cut loose on one. I was excited to see Cally finally come out with something that didn’t either spin like hell or feel like dog shit of the face. That said, I’ll be waiting for the price to drop more before I’d consider it. Just my opinion though

Hitting better drives right now using a Taylormade Burner from circa 2004-2006 than I have with any other driver in the past decade. Don't want to mess with a good thing.

Both fairway finders as well and as long as anything else I try these days.

Me too. Found a MINT 2007 Burner and it is reliably straight. I hit is as far as I can hit it. 😉

Thousands of dollars later and I finally realize that distance is waaaaaay overrated. Finding the fairway is key, distance is secondary.........even for a short knocker like me.

For me its one of the best drivers I’ve ever hit for feel, distance and forgiveness. Mine is shafted with the Wishon S2S Black shaft in stiff flex. I have the non Zub Zero model although I had that one too. I don’t find either one of them punishing on mishits more than any other driver. I decided on the non zub zero version based on the shaft.

sdandrea1 Those damn things are still one of the best drivers out there. As TM goes, it might still be their best ever. I hit the R15 well enough to consider wanting it, buutttt nah.
