Recently purchased a couple of these wedges (54 and 60). They have what Cleveland calls a 'V Sole'. They also are cavity back. This is the best wedge I've ever played. Great out of the bunkers and around the greens. Also, working very well from the fairway. This V Sole seems to go thru the turf better than other wedges for me.
I like them so much I just ordered a set of Cleveland CBX irons (6-DW). The technology on these in addition to the V Sole is a cup face on the 6 and 7 iron. They also have taken some weight out of the hosel which moves the CG more toe side (actually more center because most cg's are towards the heel).
My miss is towards the toe so hoping that gives me some more forgiveness towards the toe. They also have the zip grooves you'll find on the CBX wedges.
I got the CBX wedges in graphite (90 gram Rotex). I also got the graphite in R flex in the irons. The Miyazaki C. Kua shaft has the international flex code of 4444 which is Miyazaki's firm regular.
Shot a 74 (38-36) with my Pings today. Must've been nervous about being replaced. 😎
