Ping G25 Fairway Hosel Size

Reshafted two Ping G25 fairway woods. They are a tip .350. I shimmed in tips .335.

I actually used both adapter ferrule and shim, trimming them to fit. I may wear belt & suspenders simultaneously .

Being nosey, which shafts did you select ?

Did you use PING adapters or just shim the tips and use a .335 ferrule?

I used .350 to .335 brass shim. I have hundreds of ferrules so I chose a .335 that I did not have to turn down.

I always "thought" I had to buy a .350 to .335 adapter for PING woods - never did it old school, but guess there's no reason it shouldn't work.

My all time favorite. Aldila NV55 A flex, SST pured in my driver and fairway woods. Tip trim fairway shafts one inch. Normally I would go 10grams more weight for the fairway woods but the NV65 does not come in A flex.

I already had the brass shims and ferrules so I used them. I do trim every other tab on the brass shims about 1/2 way. Never had a failure.
