I just built these this morning for a member here. You can see the Wishon 755PC on the left and the Prophet CB on the right. Not much offset on either.

Built a set of the 755pc 5-pw Apollo Spectre Lites w/psi. 5i @ 38.5", 2° strong and 1/2" under called for trim for stiff. Have played 2 scrambles with them and must say, me likey. Just added the AW to the set I like them so well.

Won 2 cp's this past Saturday's scramble, both 8 irons.

Good to hear it Nephew. I was a huge fan of the 752TC. These play well (I have heard), but I like the looks of the 752 better. These are for subsonic. I put TT Multi-Step Lites in them.

Landon - Your're back in steel shafts in this set. Is that working out for you? I miss the feel of steel sometimes, but my body loves graphite. It makes ho-ing more expensive too. 🙍

I know what you mean about the graphite, switched to Aldila RIP's and enjoying the feel, distance as well as improved accuracy over steel.

I just did a set for a member of another forum. Those irons are such eye candy when you get up close. He likes them a lot, but they have not been game changers for him since he was a good player already (9 hdcp, I'd guess). We did them at 8 iron length with hosel bore weights. Nice clubs.

They are all components.... I have a shaft puller.

I probably wouldn't bother at this point, just buy a 1 year old OEM set for less than I can buy the parts. The only thing for me is I have turned to graphite for a balky elbow and finding those is a bit more of a challenge. Then again, when you are looking at $35-50 a shaft, the $7 heads don't make a ton of sense either, so you look to Wishon and the next thing I know, I can order a set to my specs, brand new and end up paying less anyway.

I too would love to go back to steel, I miss the feed back and weight options, but it's not happening.

I have so many sets of irons that I return to steel periodically until the elbow acts up. Love the feel, sound, look and accuracy. The extra weight helps my tempo, but if I am not striking it well, the shafts beat me up in the wrists, elbows. When I am striking it well, no pain.

Just hit my Alpha C1 Pro Forged for the first time at the range Saturday night. They felt great and I was able to work them a little both right and left. After a three year layoff from playing and practicing (I played nine with the family a couple of weeks ago) I'm just now getting back into golf - so my swing is quite rusty.

I bought the heads slightly used from an FGI forum member about 7 years ago and they sat dormant all of that time until I shafted them up with Dynamic Gold R400 shafts last week. I just looked on the Alpha website and it appears that they still make this model. Don't know if they made any changes in the interim, but they look the same as those I have. Looks like Alpha still offers several models. Won't have significant game time to report for awhile, but I like the way they look and feel so far.

sdandrea1 Yes. Those are the one's I have. They do look nice and felt just as good with the range balls. Can't wait to see how they feel with a decent ball. I hadn't hit any balls for 3 years and was even getting good air with the 4 iron off the grass. They look like they've got some bounce in the fairly wide soles, but I was pinching some really nice shots, so they don't play like that.

I'm a fan of Maltby products. Top quality, decent designs and good customer service. I was just there in
Newark over the weekend and demoed several clubs.....wound up buying a KE4 ST-H hybrid to assemble
for myself. I'm playing a set of Callaways now, and still have my set of Ping i5's. I'm getting the urge to
build myself a set of irons again though, and they probably will be Maltbys.

fatshot Maltby makes great stuff! I've got some M Series+ wedges that are really nice. I've got a couple of the ST-H hybrids as well. Had them built for me though (I hit golf clubs, I don't make them) w/the Kuro Kage shaft and they are really nice as well. Sound and feel are both first class and they are super easy to hit.

Actually, it's worked very well so far. I hit it about 4-5 times during a round the other day, and it feels VERY solid,
nice trajectory (it's 24*) and great sound at impact. Hard to pin down the distance so far though, as I hit it either down wind or dead into the wind. The KE4-ST-H looks like a small wood with a pointy toe.....a look that I like. The pictures in the catalog and online are a good representation of what you'll get. I'm playing again tomorrow, and I plan to hit it several times and measure the results.

Here's a second update on the KE4-ST-H. I hit it four times during my round yesterday. Hit the green 3 of the 4 times I used it, and shot 76. It's a keeper, in my opinion.....very solid club when paired with the proper shaft
for YOU, of course.

I am currently playing the Dynacraft Prophet forged MB and l am really enjoying them. I couldn't pass up the deal on the heads through Value Golf. I played the Acer XV Pro prior to that and really liked them also. I only play components and the Acers were the best I had played prior to the forged Dynacrafts. You can't go wrong with either set. I have the Acers for sale 6-PW in the buy/sell section if you want an inexpensive trial. You can add more irons individually through Hireko or use your hybrids if you have them.
