So, I've had more than the normal amount of very lackluster shots in the past month or so with that ol' 7i. I thought maybe I was just doing something wrong, coming out of my swing, or something, but now I think I might be alright.
I noticed I had a bit of ferrule creep a few weeks ago. I've had a bit of creep on the 8i for a few years, but it's new on the 7i. Well, last range session, I noticed my grip on the 7i is twisted almost 180°. At first, I was thinking the grip was loose and thought that might be contributing to my errant shots. However, today, I noticed the ferrule creep had nearly doubled since last time I noticed it.
Now, I'm thinking it might be the head rotating on the shaft. Is that possible? I mean, what're the chances of the head rotating multiple times without ever coming off completely?
