“It’s totally a passion,” Parsons told The Post. “I’m at the point in my life where, because of my other business successes, this thing could never make money and I’m fine. When I started the club company, I wasn’t really interested in making money. I hadn’t even thought about that. You know what I wanted? Good clubs. And you know who I wanted them mostly for? Me. For years I spent $250,000 a year on golf clubs. For me, the dream set of clubs was always right around the corner.”
$250K/year on clubs!??! I guess if you're worth north of $2 Billion you can afford to blow money like that. It'd be the equivalent of someone worth $2M spending $250/year on clubs. How's that for perspective!
