The US is going for their first Friday afternoon sweep of the 4 matches in the history of the competion. If they finish it off, they will lead the Cup 5 1/2 - 2 1/2 heading into Saturday matches.

And done! Beat them up quite a bit. Not sure about Annika's strategy there, putting rookies with the experienced in every match. Let's hope she continues on with that setup. USA may only need to win 1 match come Sunday.

Jaysus! Michelle Wie keeps missing the short ones! She and Kang should be 3 up by now. C'mon Weasy! 🤓

Lucky to only to be down by 1 going into the afternoon matches on day 1, Stacy Lewis single handedly gave away the match and by poor lag putting, a real head shaker, watching the afternoon matches now, hopefully she is sitting down. Kramer Ernst will hopefully be sitting too, that was a silly pairing IMO, and Lexi Thompson, ugh...might think about sitting her and going Piller/Kerr.....and kudos to Kang...good play by her, she put Salas in tough spot on 18 but she hit a really good chip from the rough and Kang drained that putt....could have easily been 3-1 or 3.5 to 0.5. kerr,s putt was huge in 18 to halve that match.

Kang was clutch with her putting yesterday. Hit some great shots, too.

The route is on...Sunday ratings will be among the lowest in the history of the tournament.

Only need 4 out of 12 points tomorrow........

Some pretty impressive iron play today,Thomson/Kerr and the two Brittany's looked unstoppable.
Go USA,and don't let the Euro's do what you did to them a couple years ago in singles! 😉

Yin hit one 332y😵

And Lincicome Lang holy cow these gals are el Fuego thru the first 7 holes!

I've double sourced the yardage these ladies are playing and it looks like it could be 6800+ yards. Impressive on the number of birdies it has taken to even halve a hole.

Anna Nordquist has been the best player in this competition...I suspect she will take out Lexi without much problem.

Lexi is choking.........and only 2 holes in.

Creamer, Lewus, and Kerr seem settled and confident. Nordqvist is hammering Lexi early on.

sdandrea1 Lexi's got brute strength and long as a result, I can see how in stroke play she could win a lot of events just.by overpowering courses and making enough birdies and eagles over 4 rds, but that only gets you so much in match play. Much more pressure shot to shot....and her short game/putting is average. Nordquist is a better golfer, more consistent tee to green and miles better on the green. She's lucky she had Kerr as a partner this week or she would be staring at a donut in the win column.

    Wie still can't putt.............................good grief.

Euro's are demoing a putting clinic. We could be in trouble here.

What'd I miss been gripping up some new clubs😎

Looks like sexy Lexi is hanging tough....Kreamer/hall looks like a good match and Kerr/Reed as well!

Lexi fighting back nicely. Inkster got her settled down. The rest of the matches are back and forth. Good TV golf!
