My blah, blah, blah comments were just my usual cynicism at the OEM marketing hype. Minuscule improvements will mean little to nothing to my scores but................They all look awesome and I too, want them, especially the irons.

sdandrea1 I get it, it is nothing but hype these days. What I find cool is Ping flat out says it's next to nothing, but it looks and sounds better, so buy it haha.

I will demo the driver this year and think about buying got in 2019.

Agree across the board. I love my G30 irons and I could shoot my best scores with my ZING irons - I just make fun of the hype. However, I want those irons pretty bad - they are beautiful, even with ferrules.

Looks like G irons in graphite are down to $100/club from Morton's Golf. G400 are $125

I like the honesty in hype. New clubs usually get into my head based on look anyway. We all know they aren't going to lower our scores.

I checked out a couple of YouTube videos about these irons. They look really sweet.
Not in the market for irons right now (cash strapped), but if I were, I would strongly consider these. Its a plus that they can be fit to you, as well.

I would think that they would make your wrists a bit limp and totally mess up your swing and you would be swatting at the ball like a butterfly trying to make it change colors.

Provisional Nice to dream about latest greatest big $$ clubs but think I'll be just as happy /successful just re shafting and trying out the old Eye 2s out in my garage this coming winter.

Have a little more fun and ream them out to .370. It's a piece of cake to do. I did this on some G-5's and put some FST 115's in them. It was a night and day improvement.

My Ping G2's re-shafted with KBS shafts are still good as new - actually, with the upgrade they're even better. AND, they have no ferrule creep!

If mr arthritis would behave, I'd love to try the fst steel shafts but sadly think that my old joints will prefer graphite. Hoping to pickup some pulls for cheap but haven't located any yet. I'd like to try your suggestion in the wedges though but I don't have a drill press . ???

I have read posts about people doing this with a hand held drill. The key is using a proper reaming bit and some cutting oil. You aren't removing very much material.

I have done it many times using a hand drill and 3/8" bit. It works. Use oil to keep the bit cool and be patient. If I am using graphite shafts, I just taper the shafts to fit,
