Ping G25 driver versus Ping G30 driver

What are the pros and cons of each and how do they compare to each other?

I had both. G25 spun more. Fairway finder but not very long. I used an RBZ Tour after that and it was longer but not as forgiving...still not unforgiving enough to switch back.

RBZ cracked and I grabbed a G30. Longer than than the G25, more forgiving and a bit less spin. Still seemed to just drop out of the sky. Was never really happy with the distance. It was maybe 10 yards further...same as the RBZ.

I went to the M1 and m2 when just off the rack I was 15 yards better and just as accurate.

If u had to choose between the 25 and 30...not much difference.

I found the G25 to work better (accuracy and distance) for me then the M2 did. I am trying to justify buying the G30.

I was never a like of TM equipment though I did try the M2 for a few rounds. My go to driver is a Cobra Fly Z.

I'd I had a G25 I wouldn't go to a G30...not enough benefit for the extra money. Turbolators only help and very little at high swing speeds. The hosel adapter I think with the G30 was an extra half degree...no big deal. I would wait at least a couple models before upgrading anything unless something was earth shattering.

From what I remember, the G25 felt and sounded better too.

With my measly 90mph swing speed (on a good day) I am doubting the G30 will replace my G25 unless I can get a steal on a used one to try.

My personal experience was that the g25 was just as long as the g30, maybe even longer and had a better sound and feel but the g30 was definitely more forgiving on mishits. I hit my Ping G a little farther than the g30 and the forgiveness felt about the same. For me, the sound and feel was better for the Ping G vs g30. Of course I am comparing the ping G30 to the G ls tec so not quite apples to apples. I did find that the Ping G LST launched higher for me than the g30 standard version when comparing the same lofts and shafts. Just my 2 cents, hope it helps. I would say whatever you get the best deal on is the best purchase .On a side note - I have a Ping G LS Tec 10.5 deg available...

I went from g25 to g30. I liked the stock stiff in the 25 over the 30. I initially regretted my decision to sell the 25 before the g30 proved its worth. I eventually grew to really like the g30. I finally sold the g30 off and put the XR in play. It was forgiving enough (but not as forgiving as g30) and longer for me than g30.

That stated, Im currently hitting the Epic better than any driver I can remember hitting. After a very strong performance on a very bad swing day at a demo, i picked up a 44.5" 10.5* Fusion w/Recoil 450 F4 to give it a go. At that demo it was as long as Epic and allot straighter on a day my swing was just terrible. We shall see how it compares on the course.

I went through this. Started with a 10.5* G25, and really liked it.

G30s came out. Went to a demo day, and it wasn't busy, so the Ping guy basically went through a 30 minute driver fitting with me. The standard G30 was about 3 yards longer than my G25. The G30LS was maybe 6 yards further. Stayed with the G25.

5-6 weeks later, found a deal on a G30 LS, so I bought it. Yep, it was a bit longer, but I was much more consistent, so I stayed with the G25.

5-6 weeks later, found a deal on an 9* i25 head. Found it to be just as long as the G30 LS, a little less forgiving. So I used it on windy or wide open days, and G25 for normal play.

I was real happy with this rotation. So I switched to a Cobra King LTD, because that is what we do here.
