I have been playing Adams 2013 New Idea irons for 4 years. I did try two sets of single length irons but was not happy with them.

Several weeks ago I ordered a Ping G, 7 iron, soft regular graphite, 1/2in long, black dot, Winn Dri-Tec midsize wrapped grip. Had it in my bag for a few weeks but yesterday I spent some time at the range yesterday comparing it with my Adams and decided it was time. I have ordered Ping G 6-PW-UW-SW speced out as above.

Anyone else playing the Ping G?

I think you'll enjoy them. I have the Ping G irons, and honestly there's not that much difference (performance wise) from the prior G30 model, except that the top line seems a bit thinner in the G's over the prior model. I have both.

Very forgiving clubs, and very hard to find something better performing imo.

I just got a set of G30 irons for the 65th birthday and I'm in love. I think you have a very comparable set there with a little more forgiveness, a springier face, and maybe slightly stronger lofts than mine. I find the G30 irons to be effortless point and shoot clubs. Enjoy!

Might be a silly question Steve, but have you ever tried the K15 or any of the SF Tech drivers ?
I thought that they would have a chance to replace that older PING in your bag....

Had K15 for a while.....no better than this old G10, and this one sounds and feels better than the K.
