DC300 I have been eyeing hybrids since my last outing, I wanted to go with the Ping G30 option, but thought these look good and I know how hot some of the old Dynacraft hybrids were. Anybody given them a run yet? I'm mostly concerned with their flight tendency.
Weirfan Can't help you on these but just built a set of Maltby KE4 tours for Mark with the Aerotech hybrid shafts and they look great. They are replacing his g30 3/4
kelco9 Are the Juggernaut hybrids legal? I don't see anything to indicate that they aren't. But if they are legal, why would Hireko associate them with an illegal driver. Talk about confusing marketing/branding.
DC300 Weirfan I am thinking a 19* to start, if it works out, I'll get a 24 too. I'm cautious about it because I have not had a lot of success with hybrids in the past, but last year I hit an old cobra pretty well, just needed a stiffer shaft option.
DC300 ode That may be a very valid point. They have kits with the 3 available, but I don't want the kit.
kelco9 FYI: I asked Hireko whether the Juggernaut hybrids were conforming. They said that they have not be formally submitted for testing, but that their COR will not exceed the legal limit like the driver does.
DC300 kelco9 I just remember some of the old dynacraft hybrids from back in the day were smoking hot and I wish I had gotten some for myself. I built a set for a friend and told him he better give me first dibs, bastage still uses them haha.
ode DC300 common on the GW site to have heads that show out of stock or backordered, yet available in a clubpak....I believe this is an oversight on their part....I would call if thinking of ordering to see if they have any.
ode Tis part of the issue of expanding the juggernaut line in fwy's and hybrids when the driver is non conforming and meant to be. People are gonna question if they they are "legal". Sending them to the USGA for testing is a whole other matter.
