It was poor refereeing....again. if the ref were paying attention to the play he would have saw that it was a flop and put his palm to the sky and raised his hand signaling.to the Swiss player to get up. Not only that but even if the contact would have occurred it was not worthy of a card, but a common fould and free kick. So the ref gets it wrong twice and has to go to VAR to teverse the card. Terrible call, he did not see it.correct AND his judgement was poor on issuing the yellow. VAR should simply let him know to rescind the card and warn the Swiss player. Every other flop that is seen lkle that the ref motions.for the player to get up. If the same player does it more than once, twice then a card is warranted. VAR is not there for.situations like that which is to reverse two poor decisions.by the ref. The only chastising is on the ref in that scenario. They do rate the referee performance and I hope he is dinged. FIFA ignorance to bail out poor refereeing and punish the swiss player.
