So I got out today and played the Forgeway ball. I had no problem compressing it and it didn't feel harsh to me. Distance was up some with the driver (but definitely not the 20 yards advertised) and other clubs were maybe half a club longer? Hard to say for sure as I was using a training device and it made my swing so much better that the distance gains could have been from that.
I was swinging well so can't really comment on the claim that they're straighter than other balls. I hit some draws and fades but no slices or hooks.
Short game, I didn't notice anymore runout than I usually get and it seemed to hold greens well. Putting was fine, sound was solid to me. I buy used balls so I don't plan on switching to these full time but I wouldn't mind playing them. I got them for $17.99 so for that price they're a good deal. Not sure what the regular price is but I think $25.
Played the whole round with the one ball but lost it to darkness on the last hole we played. That one felt like my best drive of the day too.
