Clark could feasibly lose by shooting a "decent" score (-1 or par) And someone gets historically hot and shoots -8 or -9. I wouldn't call that a collapse (or likely either).😉
Apparently the statistics say that Mike Brady blew a 5 stroke 54-hole lead in the final round for the current record in 1919, and Palmer had a 7 stroke lead with 9 holes to go and melted that down in 1966.
