On the women's side the Minnesota Gophers have had two exciting games where they came back in the 4th quarter
to win. They're in the Sweet Sixteen now but I think That's likely as far as they'll go. They play the winner of UCLA and Oklahoma State. I'm pretty sure they can't beat UCLA (they were beaten badly during the regular season). I don't know anything about the Oklahoma State women. I thought while watching that Mississippi State was going to beat them.
Mis. State looked like a bunch of athletic greyhounds and looked a lot quicker than the MN women who have a lot thicker legs and are slower for the most part. I do believe in this coach and believe she will have her team in the final four in the not too distant future. Her team is the least me, me, me team I've ever seen and they obviously like each other. Eight of them come from Minnesota and played with and against each other in High School.
